Grey sky up ahead the kingdom of frost
And I can see the end of an old world
Towers of thousand lights
Lost to the piles of dust
Dead structures beneath cold winds will abide
But I can see the dawn of a new world
Forests with echoes from past
Memories of the unknown
I can see the end
I can see the war
Your dreams are surrounded by dead
I can see the fall
I can see the dusk
Dead banners fly high to the end
Most roads so far were paved by the blood
And I can see the mountains of metal
Figures of plastic and glass
Shattered to pieces at last
Is justice for all will stand trial of time
But I can see the sorrow of mankind
Screams that have never been born
Locked in the tomb of the old
Last piece still to fall to dead barren soil
And I can see the mirrors and candles
Carvings in blood on the walls
Bodies denying there form
As dusk will arrive world's fading to dream
But I will hear the ghosts of an old world
Screaming for thousand of years
Aeons of infinity
I will be the end
I will be the war
Your dreams looks like came to an end
I will be the fall
I will be the dusk
Dead banners will rot in the sand

definetely one of my favourite bm projects lately, love the synth elements. makes you remember how amazing, but terrifying, space really is :) scumdrug

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
Finnish death metallers leaven infernal dynamics with triumphant, infectious melodies, striking a compelling balance between grit and grace. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 25, 2023

It's haunting. It's chaos. It's energy. It's fatigue. It's happiness. It's sadness. It's love. It's hate. This is close to the perfect black metal album for me. Marcello Velasco
