There was a tale of nation aeons old
Now everyone under the sea
Rests peacefully in tombs
It was a time of waters deep and wide
You saw you fate in empty depths
And wander what would come
And once we looked
Into your burning soul
We followed you
Into the dark
And as we stood
With water in our eyes
We drowned ourselves
In sea our tomb
You saw yourself as creatures ever bold
Immortal ones can't truly die
With hearts of stone and gold
And when the time had come for you at last
To raise your swords into the storm
No knowing what would come
And once again you wonder hollow fields
You watch them die to feel alive
The warmth under your skin
And at the end there is a empty grave
It's like the sun under your feet
To jump and burn again

definetely one of my favourite bm projects lately, love the synth elements. makes you remember how amazing, but terrifying, space really is :) scumdrug

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
Finnish death metallers leaven infernal dynamics with triumphant, infectious melodies, striking a compelling balance between grit and grace. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 25, 2023

It's haunting. It's chaos. It's energy. It's fatigue. It's happiness. It's sadness. It's love. It's hate. This is close to the perfect black metal album for me. Marcello Velasco
