4 5 6 a été "composé à partir d'une mélodie créée en 2002" et cette précision n'est pas anodine car ce bloc tourne pour ainsi dire sur une seule mélodie, mélodie répétée, modifiée, torturée pendant trente-sept minutes. Black metal, funeral doom metal, black metal suicidaire et dépressif, post-rock et quasi rap se succèdent avec un naturel qui force non seulement le respect mais surtout l'admiration. Beautiful, haunting, and incredibly engaging. I'm listening to this and looking out the window at snow falling -what could be more perfect? An incredible record; highly recommended. It's truly beautiful, and that's not a word I often use for metal, but this is powerful stuff.

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian)

La vie n'a aucune substance et la production plus distante le confirme. Le DSBM s'empare de textures sonores blues, mettant en relief une dépression urbaine. Les cris partent en fumées : ne restent que les pleurs...
